Cara Smith has over a decade of consulting experience in Conflict Resolution and Organizational Development. She has a Master's degree in Conflict Resolution, completed in 2000, from Royal Roads University, as well as extensive training in mediation, interest based negotiation, and facilitation. She is also a certified coach, qualified to administer assessment tools such as the MBTI.
Cara recently completed the Advanced Program in Human Resource Management from the prestigious Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto. She is now completing an MBA in Management Consulting from Royal Roads University.
Cara is a highly skilled in designing conflict resolution interventions, with extensive experience in systemic workplace conflict resolution, including harassment and multi party disputes. She is an experienced trainer, custom designing her own curriculum, as well as teaching conflict resolution courses for the Justice Institute of B.C, in affiliation with Yukon College.
Cara is a very knowledgeable human resource management practitioner, and will partner with your organization to create strategies and processes to ensure the people side of your business is properly aligned with organizational goals and strategies.
Cara is a member of the Canadian Association of Management Consultants, the British Columbia Human Resource Management Association, and Mediation Yukon.
